Indian made e-reader to take on Kindle
New Delhi: After two years of hard work, Vishal Mehta, an ex employee of Amazon.com, launched the Infibeam Pi, an e-reader that looks like the Amazon Kindle. It has the same e-Ink screen that the Kindle sports, reports Sruthijith KK of The Economic Times.

Bangalore, Jan 28 : Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) chief K. Radhakrishnan on Wednesday said the configuration for the new moon mission ‘Chandrayaan-2′ is being finalized and added that it would be launched by 2013.
Chandrayaan-2, which will be a joint effort between ISRO and Russia, will consist of a lander and a rover for a soft land on moon.

The Pentagon has notified the US Congress of a possible sale of 145 state-of-the-art light-weight towed Howitzers to India. The deal is worth $647 million.

Bangalore: The Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) will launch seven satellites in 1,200 seconds, similar to the launch in April 2008 when it launched 10 satellites, on Wednesday from Sriharikota.
ISRO will put six nano satellites and one major ocean satellite ‘Oceansat-2′ into orbit, as the final 51 hour countdown began on Monday morning. Out of the six nano satellites, four are from Germany; one is from Switzerland and one from Turkey. The seventh is a big one, India’s Oceansat-2 weighing 960 kilograms.
